Apex Legends – What Are the Strongest Legends for Ranked Climbing This Season?

Apex Legends remains one of the most-played free-to-play shooters, with its ranked scene still very active.

The current ranked meta favors mobility + information + teamfight impact. The strongest legends right now are:

Controller/Entry: Horizon or Octane (strong vertical mobility and fight initiation)
Support/Anchor: Newcastle or Gibraltar (reliable cover and team sustain)
Recon: Seer or Bloodhound (information is still king in ranked)

The highest win-rate coordinated comps usually pair a high-mobility entry fragger with a strong defensive anchor and one information legend. Solo-queue players tend to have the most success on Horizon, Bangalore, or Newcastle because they offer value even when teammates are inconsistent.
Avoid pure passive playstyles on higher ranks — the current map rotations and ring timings punish slow teams heavily. Prioritize legends that help you take space or reset fights cleanly.
