Could "Jada" Stones Be More Than Just a Political Tool?

One of the strangest recurring elements in Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia is the Jada Stone.

The official episode material introduces the stone when Töregene accuses Sitara of theft after Sitara comes into possession of one. Later episodes reveal an even more significant connection: Boraqchin once obtained a stone that could become either medicine or deadly poison depending on how it was used, and she experimented on her own body while investigating its effects.

This naturally inspires a more mysterious fan theory: perhaps the stones represent a larger tradition of knowledge that connects several of the women in the story.

The theory does not require the stones to be magical in a supernatural sense. In fact, the more interesting possibility is that their apparent "magic" comes from scientific knowledge that characters in the period do not completely understand.

That would fit Jaadugar extremely well.

Sitara is educated in Persian scholarship. Her knowledge allows her to recognize problems that other characters may overlook. Boraqchin, meanwhile, is willing to conduct dangerous experiments to understand the properties of a substance. The official episode description specifically presents her investigation as an attempt to understand whether the stone could function as medicine or poison.

The fan theory is that the stone could therefore symbolize knowledge that different political factions are trying to control.

Think about what knowledge means in the series.

Books are valuable enough to be stolen. Sitara's education becomes the foundation of her survival. Medical knowledge gives her access to powerful people. Writing and reading increase her usefulness at court. Political intelligence allows characters to manipulate events.

The Jada Stone fits naturally into this pattern.

It may not matter primarily because it is a mysterious object. It may matter because whoever understands it possesses information that other people want.

This could also explain why different characters might view the same object completely differently. One person could see medicine. Another could see poison. Another could see political leverage. Another might see an opportunity to eliminate an enemy.

In other words, perhaps the real "magic" of the Jada Stone is not the stone itself.

It is knowledge.

That interpretation would make the title Jaadugar, meaning "witch," especially interesting. Someone who understands something others cannot might appear almost supernatural to people who lack the same knowledge.

The theory becomes even stronger when considering how the story portrays Sitara. She repeatedly survives situations not because she possesses supernatural combat abilities, but because she can learn, observe, reason and apply information.

So perhaps the Jada Stone is another example of the same idea.

What looks like witchcraft may actually be knowledge being used in a world where knowledge itself can become a form of power.

There is no evidence that the stones have a secret supernatural origin, so this should remain firmly in the fan-theory category. But it gives the Jada Stone a fascinating thematic role: rather than being merely an unusual object, it could represent one of the central ideas of Jaadugar—in a world dominated by armies and political power, understanding something that everyone else misunderstands can be just as dangerous as possessing a weapon.
